THREE THIRTEEN ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM

Source: rockrevoltmagazine.com

Three Thirteen  is the bastard child of guitarist Randy Weitzel. Weitzel has made a name for himself as the snarling “other” guitarist of Atlantic Records recording artists In This Moment. Known by the bands’ legions of fans as “War Machine”, he can be seen shredding, scowling and stalking the stage in their latest live DVD Blood at the Orpheum. Although In This Moment is currently working on a new album slated for release this fall, Weitzel has once again joined forces during tour hiatus with his badass Three Thirteen  bandmates: guitarist Steve Marshall (Soulbleed), bassist Elaina Bangma (Soulbleed) and drummer Jimmy Schultz (Soulbleed/Sunflower Dead). The group has convened at Redneck Ranch Recording Studios  in Ontario, CA to churn out their third full length album entitled Dawn of the Shred.

Knotts Season Passholder Preview Event

Knott's held their Season Passholder event last night, one of the things that caught my eye was the "Knott’s Scary Farm Pass"! New for 2014, Knott’s is offering unlimited visits to all 24 event nights. Only a limited number of passes are now on-sale exclusively to current 2014 Knott’s Berry Farm Season Passholders for $65 (plus applicable taxes and fees) only online. I think this is amazing!

Something else that caught my eye, was the new, "Special Ops: Infected"!!! Hunt Zombies in an All-Out War. Special Ops: Infected, a whole new interactive scare experience unlike any other. This ambitious new attraction is the first of its kind in North America and will challenge guests to exterminate the infestation of zombies who threaten mankind’s existence. HOW COOL IS THIS!!!

Lots of awesome ghoulish delights happening at Scary Farm 2014, not to mention the return of Elvira, "Mistress of the Dark"! We're looking forward to experiencing all the new and returning mazes this year! Halloween being my favorite time of year, we always look forward to Knott's Scary Farm, it's been a tradition since I was a kid, growing up in Southern California.

Check out the rebroadcast from the Knott's Season Passholder event that took place last night! Knott's really went all out and took things to the next level with it's reveal event, new maze line up and all the other new and exciting surprises you'll see in the video below!

Slipknot Releases New Track, "The Negative One".

So, Slipknot released a new track, "The Negative one". What do you think about it? Check it out below! This will be the first album release without Paul Gray or Joey Jordison. Who's Slipknot's new drummer? Some say, Jay Weinberg. Nothing too different from what they usually do with their music, I'm glad they haven't deviated from the norm with this track.
